What colour can I have? Our splashbacks can be painted to match any colour from the Resene colour chart. If you require a true colour match then we recommend the use of ‘Low Iron’ glass which removes the slight green tinge in ordinary glass.
How thick is the glass? We use 5mm thick toughened safety glass. With our fixing system the glass surface will be 8mm from the wall.
What about my power points? It is important to have power points and other switches where you need them. Our splashbacks can have power point cut outs which enable switches of any size or shape to be flush mounted to the surface of the glass. The only limitation is that the cut outs must be a minimum of 50mm from the edge of the glass.
Can I fit the glass around my cupboards and curved range hood? Our splashbacks can be cut to fit almost any shape or situation.
How good does the surface need to be? Our splashbacks can be mounted to most clean dry surfaces including Gib, tiles and wallpaper. Small holes and surface imperfections aren’t usually a problem.
How will it be fixed to the wall? We have a proprietary invisible system for fixing the glass to the wall that allows the glass to be removed at a later date without damage to the wall surface. We seal the edges of the glass with clear silicone.
Can I have a splashback in other areas of my home? Splashbacks are perfect for protecting any wet area in the home and can be installed in bathrooms, toilets or laundries.
What will it cost? Almost every splashback installation is unique an the cost will be entirely dependant on your requirement. We are more than happy to provide an obligation free quote and specialist advice on how to minimise the cost.
